Procrastination IN college

Procrastination may seem like an effective way to motivate you to get work done, but it is definitely not the best way.  Whether you are on the quarter or semester system, procrastination is a universal problem for college students. Although, it may not seem like a big deal, procrastination can definitely be dangerous. It can lead to missed opportunities and deadlines and feelings of stress and depression. Thus, it is important to learn why are writers  are procrastinators and some different ways to help overcome college writing procrastination. 

According to psychologist and co-editor of "The Encyclopedia of Creativity" (2011) and a former TV show writer, Steven Pritzker says PhD that what's known as writer's block is an "artificial construct that basically justifies a discipline problem. A commitment to a regular work schedule will help you overcome barriers like perfectionism, procrastination and unrealistic expectations."
